In his eulogy for Malcolm X, the great actor Ossie Davis referred to him as a "Prince – our own black shining Prince! – who didn’t hesitate to die, because he loved us so.” Truly this great Black power giant continues to inspire generations more than 60 years since his assasination. The son of Garveyite parents in Omaha, Nebraska, he excelled in school as a young boy but the murder of his father and subsequent nervous breakdown of his mother upended his life. The future Civil Rights leader later lived with relatives in Boston, MA where he ran the streets with the future comedian Redd Foxx before being imprisoned and turning his life around by joining the Nation of Islam under Elijah Muhammad. His outspoken advocacy for African Liberation marked his rise to international prominence. He eventually left the Nation and his assassination at the hands of government operatives within the organization is one of the greatest tragedies of all time. Celebrate Brother Malcolm when you rock this Black Power African Liberation T-shirt, onlhy from Black Dominion.
